Fitnah al-Maal: Taking the Means Via Employment (Part 28)
Another important point we must understand in trying to increase our
provision is that we must take the appropriate means to gain it.
“He knows that there will be some among you sick, others travelling
through the land, seeking of Allah's Bounty” [al-Muzzamil 73:20]
And,
“disperse through the land, and seek the Bounty of Allah (by
working, etc.)” [al-Jumu’ah 62:10]
And,
“He it is, Who has made the earth subservient to you (i.e. easy for
you to walk, to live and to do agriculture on it, etc.), so walk in the path
thereof and eat of His provision, and to Him will be the Resurrection.”
[al-Mulk 67:15]
And,
“so seek
your provision from Allah (Alone)” [al-‘Ankaboot 29:17]
